The shielding cover is an alloy metal cover that is a crucial component for reducing display radiation. When applied in MID or VR products, it can effectively reduce mutual interference between modules
Use of shielding cover
Customization of shielding covers requires comprehensive consideration of technical requirements such as material selection, structural design, manufacturing processes, and electromagnetic compatibility
Material selection
Metal material: commonly used 0.2mm stainless steel (shielding cover) combined with phosphor bronze (shielding bracket), balancing conductivity (phosphor bronze conductivity ≤ 1 Ω· cm) and welding performance; Zinc tin nickel alloy (ZSNH) is suitable for scenarios that require high welding strength.  ‌
Non metallic materials: Conductive rubber sealing strip (body resistivity ≤ 1 Ω· cm) is used for joint sealing, and nano silver coating (0.1 μ m thick) can improve high-frequency absorption by 15dB but at a higher cost.  ‌
Safety distance
The distance between the cover and the edge of the PCB should be ≥ 1mm to prevent assembly collision; The critical signal path area should avoid the opening design.  ‌
Design of heat dissipation holes
Heat dissipation holes with a diameter of 1-1.5mm and a spacing of approximately 5mm balance heat dissipation and electromagnetic sealing; The waveguide ventilation aperture should be ≤ λ/4 (e.g. 2.4GHz corresponds to ≤ 3cm).  ‌
Grounding design
Adopting the "2-1-2-1mm" Great Wall foot welding process (contact 2mm, suspended tin climbing 1mm) to ensure grounding reliability and reduce residual radiation intensity by 10-15dB
